the staff were friendly and helpful and the location was excellent, especially as i was visiting the barbican centre.
The room wasn't perfect for the price i paid (it was around ÂŁ300 per night). the room cleanliness was unacceptable upon arrival with food left on the carpets. also, some of the room furnishings are a bit tatty. I noticed stains on the walls and curtains.

I appreciated the fresh and delicious breakfast. There was a wide variety of choices. The staff were friendly. They were always helpful .
The room had hygiene issues. I noticed hairs in the sheets. There were stains on the pillowcases. I found dust in several areas of the room.

the room was larger than usual for a hotel and the shower was great
i booked a barbican room but received a room in the brewery across the street no reason was given to me the furniture was stained and damaged there were cobwebs and dust the plug in the basin did not work
