i found the staff efficient, hardworking, and friendly. i particularly valued the facility to leave luggage before check-in and after check-out. the location was certainly spot on for my needs, providing easy access to various amenities.
the room i stayed in seemed a bit worn. i noticed the hard furnishings were looking chipped and battered.

the room was larger than usual for a hotel and the shower was great
i booked a barbican room but received a room in the brewery across the street no reason was given to me the furniture was stained and damaged there were cobwebs and dust the plug in the basin did not work
